Save The Bees Tee

Friends, I am very happy to share something with you that I am so, so excited about. I was honored to receive this bright and cozy, “Save the Bees” tee from Wholesome Culture! ( I shared it a few posts ago, in this post, where I rounded up my favorite botanical tees)

They generously donate a portion of their profits to environmental, and animal rescue organizations.

I am more than happy to share with you how much I love it, and more about this company’s mission to encourage a plant based lifestyle.

While I don’t practice veganism myself, I do believe we should all do what we can to leave our world better than we found it. (I discuss this practice for us personally, in this post).

While they may not seem like much, here are a few ways we, at the Yellow House are trying to leave this place better:

  • I have cut down greatly on paper towel use, by switching to reusable cloths for cleaning, and using them multiple times before washing.
  • I have switched almost entirely to reusable containers and reusable baggies in my kid’s lunches ( I love these from grove.co, and these from Amazon)-why haven’t I done this all along?
  • I always use my reusable bags at the grocery store, even for produce! (I LOVE my washable produce bags!)
  • Using only rainwater as the water for our all our house’s needs, we have become so much more aware of our water usage and while my kid’s sometimes take, “if it’s yellow let it mellow” a bit too far, (It’s been three days! Flush.it.) I love that they “get it” too. Like the planet, but on a much smaller scale, this yellow house has a limited amount of water until the next time it rains. Use it wisely! Again, why haven’t we always had this mindset?

I am not trying to sound like I’ve got it all together when it comes to living responsibly on this beautiful planet!! I only hope to share with you a few small things that I think anyone can do in their own home.

If you feel like even a small change would be too much on your plate right now, can I just encourage you to spend some time outside this week? I have found, from living on our beautiful ranch, that I feel so much more inspired to save water, and create less waste. (Read how we got here in this post)

When you find yourself in awe of God’s creation, whether in your backyard, at the park with your kids, hiking, biking or running, you feel more inclined, and even responsible to care for it…however you can. To keep you feeling inspired, why not check out some of these other cute, comfy tees from Wholesome Culture?

I love this sweatshirt!
This one comes in gold and white!
So cute as a tank top!
They also sell tote bags! Great for those trips to the grocery store, or farmer’s market.

There are so many good quality tees and products with a message. You can buy a tee with a cute saying about your love for adopting animals, or a water bottle sharing the message, “Less Plastic, More Love”. There are even shirts and tanks for those of you that love yoga. And remember, they donate a portion of their proceeds to several charities, so it’s all for a good cause!

Let me know what you find for yourself. I always love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for being here, and happy shopping,
